    “Damn it, just die!”

Michael’s gun fired wildly at the Spear Master, but the Spear Master was no longer there.

Having noticed the gun aimed at him, he had already evaded. It was a kind of shape-shifting technique that looked like teleportation to Michael’s eyes.

The Spear Master, who had instantly moved several meters forward, didn’t have his spear in hand. He had shot the spear toward Michael during his movement.

    “Uwah!”

The spear smashed the gun Michael was holding, and Michael was rolling on the ground with a terrified face. Once again, his had saved him.

Michael, whose neck had gone cold the moment he fired, had thrown away his gun and dove to the ground.

Michael was safe, but the problem was Sun-woo. The place the Spear Master had moved to was right in front of Sun-woo. Even Sun-woo couldn’t react to the Spear Master’s movement speed.

The Spear Master who appeared in front of Sun-woo swung his fist toward Sun-woo as if thrusting a spear, and Sun-woo’s martial arts difference was too severe to block that fist.

    “Ugh!”

Sun-woo was hit in the chest and flew backward quite far.

The Spear Master who had swung his fist looked at his fist while tilting his head. He had intended to kill with one blow, but unexpectedly the resistance he felt in his hand was severe.

But since he had smashed most of the ribs, there would certainly be no more interference.

Soon the spear returned after smashing Michael’s gun, and the spear once again shone brightly as it pointed at the party.

Daniel, the only one among the party who was relatively intact, protected the front of the party, but his complexion was rigidly hardened. He couldn’t possibly block the Spear Master.

When the Spear Master was about to throw his spear at the next target, there was someone who blocked his path.

Magician Erica. She was the Spear Master’s lover.

“Please come to your senses. Why are you doing this?”

Erica pleaded with him while spreading both arms. When she blocked his path, the Spear Master’s expression twisted.

“Well, well. I really must have liked you a lot. Seeing that my hand won’t move immediately even in this situation.”

His expression looking at Erica seemed a little sad, but that expression disappeared without a trace shortly after.

Erica was bewildered by the unexpected confession. He had never said he liked her before.

“But this is the last time. Stand aside. I’ll spare only you.”

His subsequent words felt even colder, but Erica had no intention of moving.

“No. Spear Master is like this because he’s sick. He’ll get better soon. I’ll protect him. Please come back.”

Even at her desperate cry, the Spear Master’s expression didn’t change, and rather, the opposite voice was heard from behind her.

“Move aside. He’s not the same man from before. He’s an enemy.”

Sun-woo, covered in blood around his mouth, was forcing his body up and speaking.

Having barely saved his life thanks to the suit from the association and profound martial arts, he had poured a potion into his mouth to recover his physical condition.

His boiling blood vessels had calmed and his internal energy that had hit bottom was recovered, but the broken ribs still showed no signs of mending. Unlike internal injuries, potions apparently couldn’t heal external wounds all at once.

Since he had taken out the potion anyway, Sun-woo checked the Spear Master’s skills with his phone and spoke with a rigidly hardened expression.

Sun-woo seemed to have discovered something.

“Oh? Did you notice? That’s interesting. I couldn’t predict it at all until just now, so how did you know?”

The Spear Master looked at Sun-woo with a curious expression.

“What happened? Did you figure out the reason?”

The other party members also looked curious, and the magician asked eagerly, but Sun-woo couldn’t tell them.

[The content you just confirmed must be kept secret from general summoned. Intentional disclosure will result in memory loss as well as massive penalties.]

A voice urgently reached him. Sun-woo’s expression became cold.

“Everyone’s about to die. What’s this about secrets?”

[Another team is being summoned. They’ll arrive shortly.]

The Summoners seemed urgent too. Now it felt like they were having a conversation.

“Don’t tell me you’re saying to buy time.”

Sun-woo quickly checked his physical condition.

Thanks to the potion, his internal energy was stabilized, but fighting with martial arts was impossible due to his broken ribs. Of course, if he fought because of the martial arts difference, he would certainly be smashed in one blow.

Among the party, only Daniel seemed able to help.

Hayden, who had blocked the spear with telekinesis, was unconscious while coughing up blood, and Michael, whose gun was smashed, had already run far away and was no help at all.

Nan-seol was also collapsed to one side after being hit by the Spear Master’s fist.

It would be good if the female magician could buy more time, but the Spear Master seemed to have lost interest in her now.

“Well, there are many ways to find out what I’m curious about.”

The Spear Master who disappeared from that spot immediately appeared in front of the magician.

“I told you to move when I said move. Why don’t you listen?”

    He grabbed Erica’s neck.

Erica closed her eyes and waited for death as his hand gradually tightened around her neck.

But the Spear Master, who had been applying force, soon relaxed his grip. When Erica opened her eyes, the Spear Master was looking at her with a strange expression.

“You don’t have much time left either. Then there’s no reason to kill you.”

He struck Erica’s neck with his hand blade.

Erica immediately fainted and collapsed on the spot, and he looked coldly at the remaining party.

“I was delayed a bit. Sorry for the wait.”

But Daniel and Sun-woo could have waited longer.

“Tsk, illusion arts don’t even work.”

Sun-woo had tried using illusion arts while the Spear Master was talking to the female magician.

But illusion arts didn’t work at all on a transcendent expert who grasped the entire area with energy. Rather, he got a headache from the backlash.

    Really, only sorcery remained now.

Sun-woo frowned at the pain of his ribs piercing him but placed his hands on the ground. And he began spreading the spirits of the earth through the ground.

    Rumble!

The ground began rising to create walls between the Spear Master and the party.

But the earth walls burst as soon as they rose. Because the Spear Master smashed them as soon as they rose.

Though it seemed meaningless, Sun-woo continued making walls backward while drinking the remaining potions.

“Final struggle? Certainly interesting. To continuously draw out internal energy like this with first-class internal energy. And using earth-moving sorcery by utilizing internal energy too.”

Now he was beginning to understand even the principles of the techniques Sun-woo used.

He walked forward slowly while destroying the earth walls.

Shortly after, the earth walls eventually retreated to right in front of Sun-woo, and that wall was also smashed by the Spear Master.

    “Is it over now?”

The Spear Master looked at Sun-woo after destroying the last wall. Sun-woo smiled bitterly at his words. Now the internal energy and sorcery power he had raised with potions were almost exhausted.

If the Spear Master had fought properly, he certainly couldn’t have lasted even a moment.

    “But it was interesting.”

The Spear Master, interested in the new technique, had slowly dealt with it instead of destroying it all at once.

But Sun-woo had aimed for exactly that point.

    “Do you need more time?”

Sun-woo shouted toward the sky with the Spear Master in front of him.

Fortunately, Sun-woo could hear an answer.

[Additional support team arrives. Compensation is being recalculated.]

Though there were ridiculous words attached at the end, the people he had been waiting for had finally arrived.

At Sun-woo’s sudden words, the Spear Master showed a puzzled expression, but he had to quickly retreat backward the next moment.

    Bang bang bang!

Because bullets poured down on where he had been. The bullets weren’t much different from the bullets Michael had fired, but the Spear Master looked troubled, unlike before.

Because the trajectory of the bullets was completely different.

The bullets almost caught up with his movement that was close to teleportation, and moreover, there were cases where bullets were already fired to where he would move.

The Spear Master failed to dodge all the bullets and had no choice but to swing his spear to block them.

    Ping ping ping!

A miracle unfolded where bullets bounced off the shining spear blade, but his defense wasn’t perfect. Because bullets flew at angles that were impossible to block.

    Spurt!

Eventually, blood spurted from the Spear Master’s side.

On the middle of the opposite cliff from where the bullets were fired, a man in camouflage military uniform was dangerously hanging from the cliff edge.

He held an ordinary M16 rifle and seemed to shoot without proper aiming, but was making shots that surpassed an expert’s movements from a distance that would require a sniper rifle.

The Spear Master, who couldn’t immediately notice the shooting position because it was too far, was able to confirm the opponent’s location during the brief time of changing magazines.

The Spear Master immediately tried to rush toward the opponent shooting at him, but there was someone blocking his path.

A large knight in black armor blocked the Spear Master.

He was a knight whose body was wrapped in black plate armor from helmet to toes, and unlike his armor, he swung a brilliantly shining huge greatsword toward the Spear Master.

Annoyed by continuous interference, the Spear Master didn’t dodge the approaching greatsword. He clashed his spear against the greatsword.

    Crash!

The sound of the Spear Master’s spear and the knight’s greatsword colliding echoed through the canyon.

Dust rose up in abundance, and the Spear Master and the black knight were pushed back in opposite directions.

    “Ugh!”

A groan flowed from the Spear Master’s mouth. Though he had fought while wounded, the opponent had matched him evenly.

    “What are you bastards!”

The enraged Spear Master shouted at the knight, but the knight inside the helmet said nothing. He merely raised his greatsword.

    “You bastards!”

A lion’s roar burst from the Spear Master’s mouth, and simultaneously a shining spear shot from his hands. The place the spear headed was where the black knight stood. Once again, energy spear technique was deployed.

But the spear didn’t reach the knight.

    “Gravity Max!”

A clear female voice was heard from behind the knight, and the flying spear was slammed into the ground.

Behind the knight, a cold-faced woman with red hair tied tightly was holding one hand toward the spear.

Her Western yet strangely unfamiliar face had a similar feeling to Hayden’s face. She was probably a woman from the same world as Hayden.

The gunman, black knight, and superpower user who freely utilized gravity. These seemed to be the support team the Summoner had mentioned.

The relatively intact party members looked alternately at the red-haired woman and the black knight, but Sun-woo’s gaze was directed elsewhere.

He was looking at the soldier sitting on the cliff face in the distance. Though it was far, his eyes enhanced by internal energy allowed him to somewhat make out the soldier’s appearance.

He was someone Sun-woo knew. The summoned from the Inspection Office who had passed him in the association building corridor not long ago.

The content Sun-woo had confirmed with his phone just before flashed through his mind.

“Tsk, so you knew and were keeping it secret.”

    Sun-woo’s face darkened.
