    Chapter Index

The earth wall that appeared suddenly blocking the breath melted from the breath and eventually collapsed.

Thanks to that the party saved their lives and while the dragon and party were bewildered by the unexpected earth wall, one person burst from underground beneath the dragon’s body and struck the dragon’s belly.

The person who pierced through earth was naturally Sun-woo. He who was secretly watching the fight saw the prince’s party gradually being pushed and dug through earth moving to the dragon’s underside.

Various surveillance magic surrounded the lair but it all shattered from the dragon and hero party’s fight so no intact magic remained.

Moving without any hindrance to the dragon’s underside, he blocked the breath by moving earth when the party was in crisis and struck the unprepared dragon.

His fist full of inner strength struck the dragon’s belly and at that moment, inner strength shot from his fist burst inside the dragon’s belly.

It was the inner strength martial art that crushed the Kraken in one hit in the mission before.

As more powerful and sophisticated inner strength martial art exploded, the dragon’s body soared several meters or more into the air as if hit by a giant’s fist then rolled to one side.

    “Indeed, different class.”

Regrettably the dragon didn’t end in one hit. Not only was there something that didn’t burst inside the mouth, but the dragon’s interior was incomparably harder compared to the Kraken.

Moreover whether using recovery magic like when fighting the hero party, it recovered quickly and seemed like it would regain consciousness soon.

“Thank you for helping! You were a hidden expert! Let’s fight together!”

The prince who had been hit by the dragon’s tail approached and rushed at the dragon.

Seeing the breastplate deeply dented, there must have been considerable impact but the prince was much tougher than expected.

Sun-woo chuckled at that appearance then began attacking following him.

Though not martial arts, judging from at least the weapon and armor he possessed and his swordsmanship, the prince was at least at the peak master level in the martial world.

With him helping, it was certain to be a big help.

Moreover the hero party’s attacks weren’t completely useless. Though recovery magic was used, the damage wasn’t completely gone and the dragon’s mana wasn’t infinite either.

The hero party just was pushed because their stamina dropped so if Sun-woo supplemented the lacking part it should work.

If the fight ended with the hero party’s victory, Sun-woo had no intention of stepping forward. But since they were being pushed he couldn’t just watch.

Fighting alone after the hero party was annihilated had little chance of victory.

Stepping forward now was also no different from jumping between two fighting fiercely and neatly disposing of the tired enemy.

“Well, I’m not sure if erasing memory from these capable people is even possible, but that’s not my concern.”

After all this was a contaminated area where the Summoner couldn’t contact. Decided to first defeat the dragon then think of aftermath.

True to Sun-woo’s expectation, the dragon’s mana seemed nearly at its limit.

The dragon receiving attacks from Sun-woo and the prince used all its mana recovering its body so it couldn’t perform magic attacks.

Thanks to that the hero party could recover strength without damage and shortly after support attacks began from them.

Alda’s flames burned the dragon’s skin and the mage’s magic cut the dragon’s skin.

Not as strong magic as before but because a new fresh opponent appeared, the dragon couldn’t focus on that.

Gradually the fight seemed to be decided with the dragon’s defeat. Now healing magic also weakened and the dragon’s body was covered in blood.

In between the prince hit by the dragon’s leg again was sent flying far and lost consciousness, and Alda whose spirit power was completely exhausted half lost consciousness.

The dragon barely managed to recharge breath and shot towards the party with lethal determination but unfortunately that was fake created by Sun-woo’s illusion technique.

Nearly at death’s door the dragon could no longer distinguish Sun-woo’s illusion technique.

Shortly after shooting breath, the dragon lost all mana and its Achilles tendons on both legs were all cut off, crouching down as Sun-woo climbed on the dragon’s neck.

When inner strength from his sword gradually lengthened exceeding 5 meters, the sword wrapped in inner strength cut the dragon’s neck.

    Scrunch!

Such was the end of the Mad Dragon who dominated the mountain range and attacked the kingdom.

The mage and Holy Maiden watched that scene with bewildered expressions. Despite working so hard, an unexpected person ended the finale.

Sun-woo jumped from the falling dragon’s body and the Holy Maiden rushed to the fallen prince healing his wounds.

Fortunately Alda had only fainted from excessive spirit power use.

Sun-woo glanced at the tunnel where Yeonhwa was before approaching the fallen dragon.

Like with the Imoogi and monsters before, this large strong monster had a core each.

But not knowing where inside this massive body the core was located, he was pondering when the dead dragon’s corpse answered his wondering.

Like other contamination sources dying, the dragon’s contamination disappeared as it died becoming an ordinary corpse, but one spot on the body kept its murky color.

Right at the dragon’s right chest where the heart was located. He began carving the dragon’s chest with sword energy filling his sword.

After digging for a while he discovered a glowing jewel attached to the dragon’s heart.

    ‘As expected, it was there.’

But like what was seen outside the core was murky and unclear.

‘The core inside the body changed alone? Then was this core the cause of the dragon and mountain range becoming contaminated?’

Regrettably Sun-woo’s wondering couldn’t last long.

Graham who regained consciousness warned Sun-woo.

“Grateful for helping but don’t rashly touch other’s belongings. That dragon heart is ours.”

Sun-woo couldn’t help but have an astonished expression at Graham’s words.

    “Why is that your property?”

“This matter was started and ended by our party. You are merely a mercenary hired to help our party. Will give extra compensation but don’t touch the dragon heart.”

Not knowing how profit division works between mercenaries in this world, but thinking of what he did it was clearly unreasonable.

“Let’s talk about distribution after everyone wakes up. I need to examine this dragon heart so I’ll temporarily keep it.”

Still Sun-woo decided to handle it nicely. He actually got help and his desire for this dragon heart wasn’t as strong as before.

But seemed necessary to show this contaminated item to Yeonhwa.

“Thought well of you for helping but you turned out to be a mercenary of poor quality.”

But the other party seemed not to trust Sun-woo. While Sun-woo pondered how to gain trust, the Holy Maiden began stopping the mage.

“Don’t be like that. Didn’t you say we’ll talk about it later?”

The Holy Maiden stood before the mage stopping him then turned her body bowing her head to Sun-woo.

“We’ve seen so many bad people that we’ve lost trust in people. I’ll apologize in their place.”

The mage’s excitement seemed to calm at the Holy Maiden’s restraint. He also apologized to Sun-woo.

“Seems I got too excited and hurried. I apologize. By the way, won’t you come with us? With that level of skill you can definitely come with us.”

    “I’m sorry.”

The mage with returned reason immediately proposed becoming the same party but Sun-woo had to shake his head.

No matter how good the job, it was nearly impossible for him as a summoner from another dimension to remain here and continue that job.

Moreover this mage was quite awkward. While his selfish nature wasn’t different from others, the monsters he summoned were tainted with murky color.

“Looks like you received such injury. Just a moment.”

At that moment, the Holy Maiden who was examining Sun-woo with curious expression saw his hand and approached with worried expression.

Inevitably in such fierce fighting, injuries couldn’t be avoided. Though his body was protected as much as possible with coat etc., his hands were always wounded and this time also had several wounds.

The Holy Maiden was a young beautiful and modest-looking woman with long gold hair.

Sun-woo was tense just in case but she simply placed her hand on Sun-woo’s hand and drew up holy power healing his hand.

    “Thank you.”

Wounds were quite large so he was worried whether to use a potion, but he was grateful for the Holy Maiden’s help.

    “There’s nothing to thank. I received payment didn’t I?”

The Holy Maiden showed with a pure smile the dragon heart held in her hand to Sun-woo.

    “What?”

The surprised Sun-woo stretched his arm to retrieve the jewel but his body didn’t obey his will. His body suddenly heavy as lead crouched him to the floor.

“Don’t exert strength. This is God’s Curse cast directly by me. Though it doesn’t last since you’re not a believer, people I’ve touched with my hands can be completely incapacitated temporarily.”

The Holy Maiden continued smiling and kindly explained to Sun-woo.

“Hmph, an ability completely useless in fighting yet acting proud. Only barely able to use it through deception each time. Anyway Holy Maiden committing fraud every time is funny.”

The mage who until recently was apologizing with sorry expression opened his mouth with cold face.

“As I said before, the god I serve is the god of chaos so there’s absolutely no problem. Since helping him has nothing to do with human ethics.”

The Holy Maiden told the mage she already knew so why keep picking fights then asked him to handle Sun-woo.

“Look, all the troublesome things are being pushed to me anyway. Still fortunately this time the prince and Alda lost consciousness themselves so don’t need to put them to sleep.”

The mage stood there gathering magic through a bone stick. Seeing that the Holy Maiden quickly moved away from Sun-woo.

“Isn’t it something just stabbed with a knife then finished but why dark magic too?”

“Safety first. Moreover like you said a mage stabbing someone with a knife is such an eyesore where?”

The mage began summoning monsters again through the bone stick.

“Sorry. We just happen to want your thing. Well, might’ve been similar situation even if you didn’t want it, but just think running into our party was bad luck. All damage to the prince’s success must be excluded.”

The Holy Maiden seemed quite perverted in character.

“Can’t that woman stop explaining? Every time seeing her do such things to people she kills I’m fed up.”

“Don’t interfere with hobbies and just work.”

The mage continued grumbling while succeeding in summoning a monster.

This time a giant four-legged beast with two heads appeared. Two heads looking like wolves and a monster with a body larger than a horse.

Though non-Summoners couldn’t feel it, the summoned monster was tainted with murky color.

    Kraaagh!

The monster rushed towards Sun-woo before its eyes as soon as it was summoned.

“This, why is this thing suddenly charging out!”

The mage frowning at the monster rushing towards Sun-woo before his command said.

It fortunately rushed towards the desired target but having a summon not move as desired was quite worrying.

And something more absurd happened to the mage.

    Scrunch!

The monster that ran up before Sun-woo was split in half as it opened its two mouths wide to bite him.

And appearing between the split halves was Sun-woo holding his sword.

    “Did the curse already break?”

The mage asked the Holy Maiden angrily at the curse already breaking but the Holy Maiden’s face was already deathly pale.

“That’s impossible! The curse is still active! You can’t possibly break it!”

Ignoring the two shocked people, Sun-woo glanced behind.

“I said I’m needed for this mission! Other god’s curses are something I can sufficiently block!”

Behind Sun-woo stood Holy Maiden Yeonhwa who had rushed out from the tunnel with confident expression looking at him.
