What a clutch save, and the buildup was satisfying too. Yeon shin isn’t only a imperial sword, he’ll be a uniter of the people and martial world alike if he continues like this. At the very least Mt. Hua, Tang, DF, Imperial family, Ma family and the 7th apostle make for a damn good cohort. Bruh is a whole faction himself.

Up to this point this is truly one of the best arcs/missions/journeys in the story. Elite in every way.

I wonder what is Tyrant Sword Sect Leader objective is? He seems to let go his enemies alive quite often

I’ve assumed since he let MC go in the beginning of the novel that he is trying to cultivate someone that he can overcome in order to gain the enlightenment needed to truly ascend. After letting Lu Xian go though, I started to think his cultivation method may rely on overcoming “worthy” rivals, so he waits around for them to become ripe before using them as elixirs.

A branch above the ghost-masked noble sons. A one-eyed noble youth in a hood shook his head, stroking his sword scar.

Did Cheong Myeong loose his eye ?

Yes. Thieving Ghost ambushed him in one of early chapters.

White veins rose on the back of her hand gripping the sword scar. Right after her brief words.

gripping the sword scar ? which scar ? Or is it meaning the sword hilt ?

      1. @Arthur LeywinApr 20, '25 at 5:35 pm

ah yes. its supposed to be hilt.
