  A thought that I have been mulling over, even more so with Shadow Lord Empty True Person’s posting words as JYS left the rain dragon formation, but is it possible that the World Tree has something to do with the famine? Maybe the World Tree has been afflicted with something causing it to drain the life energy from the country? Could make for an interesting future conflict point.
